FACES OF CHANGE
Empowering Women, Fuelling Communities
About the exhibit
This collection (GENTU GALLERY) captures the vibrant, multifaceted nature of personal and collective transformation through gender equality, learning, and community connection.
Each image is a moment of joy, whether quiet or exuberant, that contributes to a larger story of change. From men and women embracing new roles to children thriving in more equitable communities, The Faces of Change reflects how small, yet powerful moments form the foundation of lasting, systemic transformation.
Through these images, we witness the pieces of growth, the beauty of shared experiences, and the profound impact of each step taken toward a healthier, more just, and thriving future.

About the GENTU Project
In rural communities of Tanzania and Uganda, Action Against Hunger’s GENTU Project, supported by Global Affairs Canada, is working to fight malnutrition while breaking down barriers of gender inequality.
Launched in 2023, this five-year initiative empowers women and girls to take charge of their health and their children’s nutrition, while also engaging men and community leaders to challenge harmful norms. By bringing people together and addressing the root causes of both hunger and inequality, GENTU is helping families build healthier, more equal futures.
